What your team gets

PLC and DCS engineering, with your vendor engines underneath.

Govern features are in use today. Domain modules are pre-release; their state is listed under Tools and formats.

TwinCAT projectsOpen and edit TwinCAT 3 projects, with Structured Text language support and confirmed edits.
Build through TwinCATThe TwinCAT build run through an engineering host, with its messages in Problems.
Live valuesA read-only connection to the target over ADS, a Watch view and a trace; every value write confirmed and logged.
DCS configurationDeltaV FHX exports indexed, checked, compared by meaning and edited with the rest of the file kept byte for byte.
Agents off the plantThe PLC and OT template denies agents downloads to controllers and plant networks; safety logic waits for a named approver.

Who uses it

One environment for every role on the team.

Controls engineersWrite and build Structured Text for TwinCAT 3.
Commissioning engineersWatch live values and make confirmed, logged value writes.

Tools and formats

What the PLC and DCS modules handle, and how far each is verified.

Both modules are behind a setting, off by default, and run only in a trusted workspace.

Beckhoff TwinCAT 3Tool discovery, the build, the project reader and writer, Structured Text, and an ADS client with symbol upload, live watch, logged writes and trace. Domain modules are pre-release. Nothing is verified by a customer yet, and nothing is verified on Windows. Do not rely on a capability for production work until it is verified for your tools, versions and operating system. Product names belong to their owners.

How a change moves

A person decides before anything leaves the desk.

  1. Propose
An engineer or agent drafts a change to control logic.
  2. Verify
    Your vendor compiler builds it.
  3. Approve
A change to safety logic waits for a named approver.
  4. Record
Change, results and approval kept together in the audit record.

Standards

Evidence for your plant's change process. The certification is yours.

IEC 62443Evidence toward IEC 62443: agents kept out of plant network zones and away from controller downloads, with every decision logged.
IEC 61131-3Structured Text for TwinCAT 3, built by your vendor compiler, with every change kept with its approval.

Neural Inverse provides evidence toward these standards. Certification stays with your organisation and assessor.

Rules you work under

What they ask, and what Neural Inverse gives you toward them.

We produce records your assessors and regulators can use. We never say a product makes you compliant; that stays with your organisation.

EU Machinery RegulationWhat it asksRegulation (EU) 2023/1230 applies from 20 January 2027. It covers software that performs safety functions, and requires machinery to be protected against corruption: the software needed for safe operation is identified, and evidence of legitimate or illegitimate interventions in that software or its configuration is collected. What Neural Inverse gives youEach change to control logic kept with its approver in the audit record, and safety logic that waits for a named approver. That is evidence for your development process; the machine’s own records and conformity stay with you.
EU Cyber Resilience ActWhat it asksManufacturers of products with digital elements, including controllers and connected machinery, report actively exploited vulnerabilities and severe incidents from 11 September 2026: an early warning within 24 hours and a notification within 72 hours. The security requirements, conformity assessment and CE marking apply from 11 December 2027.What Neural Inverse gives youRecords of who changed what, why and who approved it, and a tamper-evident audit log you can export, as evidence for your technical documentation and reports. A software bill of materials for each release of our own products is available for your vulnerability management.
NIS2 DirectiveWhat it asksManufacturers of machinery, electrical equipment, vehicles and other listed products in the EU can be important entities. They manage cyber risk, including in their supply chain, and report significant incidents within 24 hours, 72 hours and a month, under their national law. What Neural Inverse gives youAccess control, approvals by named people and a tamper-evident audit log you can export when you report. The PLC and OT template keeps agents out of plant network zones and away from controller downloads.

Questions

What industrial automation teams ask us first.

Does it work with our PLC and DCS tools?

Beckhoff TwinCAT 3 comes first, with Emerson DeltaV read from FHX exports; CODESYS, TIA Portal and other systems are in development and not yet available. Builds still go through your vendor compiler. Both modules are pre-release and modelled: no vendor tool or controller has been run yet, and verification kits for the lab are ready.

Can an agent download to a controller?

No. The PLC and OT template denies agents downloads to controllers and plant networks, and a change to safety logic waits for a named approver. The connection to the target over ADS is read-only, and every value write is confirmed and logged.

Can it run on-premises or air-gapped?

Yes. Neural Inverse Govern runs on your own servers, in your own cloud account or on a network with no internet access, with models served inside your network. Run each release on a host with no route out before you rely on it.

Is Neural Inverse certified to IEC 62443 or the Machinery Regulation?

No. Neural Inverse gives evidence toward IEC 62443: agents kept out of plant network zones and away from controller downloads, with every decision logged. Conformity and certification stay with your organisation and its assessor.
