What your team gets
The z/OS development loop in one IDE.
Govern features are in use today. Domain modules are pre-release; their state is listed under Tools and formats.
Who uses it
One environment for every role on the team.
Tools and formats
What the Mainframe module handles, and how far each is verified.
The z/OS side runs while a z/OS connection exists. COBOL and JCL colouring is always available.
Nothing is verified on Windows or macOS. Domain modules are pre-release. Nothing is verified by a customer yet, and nothing is verified on Windows. Do not rely on a capability for production work until it is verified for your tools, versions and operating system. Product names belong to their owners.
How a change moves
A person decides before anything leaves the desk.
- ProposeAn engineer or agent drafts a change to COBOL programs.
- VerifyYour compilers and tests check it.
- ApproveAn upload to host data sets waits for a named approver.
- RecordChange, results and approval kept together in the audit record.
Standards
Evidence for your controls. The audit opinion is your auditor's.
Neural Inverse provides evidence toward these standards. Certification stays with your organisation and assessor.
Rules you work under
What they ask, and what Neural Inverse gives you toward them.
We produce records your assessors and regulators can use. We never say a product makes you compliant; that stays with your organisation.

Does it work with our z/OS tools?
The Mainframe module works through z/OSMF with your Enterprise COBOL compilers and cataloged procedures, JES, Db2 and CICS; GnuCOBOL, GDB and COBOL Check cover the workstation. The module is pre-release: the workstation path is verified on Linux, and the z/OS path has not yet run against a z/OS system, with a verification kit for your own.
Do we have to convert or migrate our code?
No. There is no conversion, no new runtime and no migration: your compilers, JES and change control stay on z/OS.
Can an agent submit jobs or touch production?
No. The mainframe template lets agents edit COBOL and JCL in the repository; they never submit jobs, bind Db2 packages or delete host data sets. Data sets you name, such as PROD.**, open read-only.
Can it run on-premises or air-gapped?
Yes. Neural Inverse Govern runs on your own servers, in your own cloud account or on a network with no internet access, with models served inside your network. Run each release on a host with no route out before you rely on it.
Does Neural Inverse make us compliant with SOX, PCI DSS or DORA?
No. Govern gives evidence toward your controls, such as payment and ledger changes that wait for a named approver, and agent reads of cardholder data that are denied and logged. Compliance, certification and the audit opinion stay with your organisation and its auditors.
